Let it snow during Holiday Magic in Cape Harbour

CAPE CORAL, Fla. (Nov. 3, 2015) — It’s the most wonderful time of the year,  and an annual tree lighting ceremony kicks off Holiday Magic in Cape Harbour on Friday, November 20. Santa makes his first appearance in Southwest Florida that evening, too, with rock and roll for all to enjoy – whether naughty or nice – by local band Riverside from 6-10 p.m.

It never snows in Cape Coral, unless you’re lucky enough to attend the Snow Festival on November 21, hosted by Fathoms and The French Press. From 6-9 p.m. the whole family will delight in sledding on honest-to-goodness snow! This unforgettable evening of holiday cheer will also feature ice carving, face painting, snow cones and a flash fun photo booth to capture the bliss.

Magic is in endless supply at the Snow Festival, and while a live choir fills the air with angelic carols, shoppers can get an early start with many interesting crafts and locally sourced wares on display at an outdoor holiday bazaar.

Fathoms’ Chefs Fabrice Deletrain and Benjamin Voisin are planning a special holiday menu. And what holiday experience would be complete without hot chocolate and homemade cookies provided by The French Press?

Owner Meredith Hoffman said, “The meaning of the winter holidays is togetherness. Together with my husband Tim and our partners Benjamin and Valeria Voisin, we’re thrilled to provide this festival as a way to kick off the holiday season for families and friends all over Southwest Florida.”

Tim Hoffman said, “The smiles on the children’s faces is what it’s all about for us. Meeting Santa and riding sleds on real snow will be memories to treasure .”

Send your photo to friends up north to prove the Sunshine State is the place to make holiday memories and create new family traditions.
